At Somerville, We have long understood that we are responsible to both our customers and the environment at large. We are proud of our environmental stewardship demonstrated through our innovative design and responsible manufacturing processes. As the first ISO 9001:2008 display manufacturer in Canada we are proud of the quality we have provided our customers for over 70 years. We have been a proud member of the Recycling Council of Ontario since 1998 and a recipient of a “3R Trendsetter Award”. At Somerville, we have championed a unique recycling program alongside Ontario Lottery & Gaming, which has been expanded to include Atlantic Lottery in which all lottery merchandisers are collected by Somerville and evaluated for refurbishing or recycling. This has been the cornerstone of our green initiative! We have achieved a 93.5% waste diversion rate and will work together with our community to reach our goal of zero waste to landfill; In addition to this, Somerville is in the process of FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) certification to fulfill our commitment to the protection of our eco-systems .
